Our standard: useful before persuasive.

We Are Micro publishes educational content designed to help a small business owner frame a decision. We do not rank jurisdictions by headline tax rate, sell incorporation packages or imply that a structure works simply because it can be formed online.

Source hierarchy

For technical topics we prioritize primary and official material: tax authorities, company registries, government portals, the European Commission and intergovernmental sources such as the OECD. Secondary commentary can be useful for discovery, but a decision guide should point readers back to the rule-maker where practical.

How guides are built

1. Define the decision. Every article should answer a concrete microbusiness question rather than chase a broad keyword.
2. Separate facts from outcomes. We distinguish incorporation, company residence, owner residence, permanent establishment, indirect tax and payment infrastructure instead of collapsing them into “best country.”
3. Link primary sources. Technical guides include an official-source section so readers can verify current requirements.
4. Flag uncertainty. Where rules depend on residence, treaty, management, substance or transaction type, the guide says so rather than inventing a universal answer.
5. Review for operating usefulness. Articles include failure modes and a decision checklist, not only definitions.

Dates and updates

The initial library was reviewed on September 7, 2026. Tax, company, VAT, banking and immigration rules can change without the page URL changing, so the “last reviewed” date is not a guarantee that a rule remains current. Readers should verify time-sensitive details at the linked official source before acting.

Corrections

Accuracy matters more than defending old wording. If a primary source changes, the preferred correction is to update the factual claim, the source link and the review date together. This static build does not include a public submission form; one can be added when a monitored business mailbox exists.

Commercial independence

This version of We Are Micro contains no paid rankings, sponsored jurisdiction placements or affiliate company-formation links. If commercial relationships are added later, they should be disclosed at the point where they could influence a reader’s decision.
